Jordan ToursDay One
Arrive at Amman Queen Alia International Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for two nights.

Day Two
After breakfast drive to the River Jordan to visit Wadi al Karrat, where John the Baptist lived and the traditional site where Jesus was baptised.
Then drive on to the Dead Sea which is the lowest place on Earth. There will be an opportunity to float on the sea before returning to Amman for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day Three
After breakfast you will be driven on the ‘King’s Highway’, which is one of the oldest trade routes in the World, you will visit Madaba and Mount Nebo, the burial p[lace of Moses. After lunch en-route, we continue our drive to Petra visiting the famous Crusader Castle at Karak. When you arrive at Wadi Mousa the gateway to Petra you will check in to your hotel for dinner and the next four nights stay.

Day Four
Today will be a full day in the ‘Rose Red City’ which will commence after breakfast, with your first experience of the stunning desert views which Petra offers. After what may be a hot and dusty day you may wish to sample a Turkish Bath which is available at an extra charge.

Day Five
Today after breakfast you will visit one of Petra’s most spectacular sights, the High Place of Sacrifice. Here is a place steeped in history, where children and animals were sacrificed and although rejected by Abraham the practice was carried out by Manasseh who then repented and was mysteriously fulfilled in Christ. After this you will visit the tomb of the Roman Soldier and then have lunch at a restaurant inside Petra then return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day Six
A visit to the desert area made famous by Lawrence of Arabia at Wadi Rum starts after breakfast, with a two hour jeep ride in the same desert. After this you will return to Petra and also visit Little Petra where you will meet the local Bedouin shepherds.

Day Seven
After breakfast you will depart for Queen Alia International Airport in Amman for your flight to London.

All tours are accompanied by English speaking Jordanian drivers and guides

It should be noted that tours to Petra involve quite a lot of walking and climbing and are therefore not suitable for infirm or disabled people or those with heart or respiratory conditions. If you are uncertain please contact our office for advice.
